Youth MSP Details

Youth for TPNW is proud to present the 3rd Youth MSP 2025. We brought together over 130 young people online and in person for the Youth MSP in November 2023, and now we’re back for March 2025. Youth for TPNW, in collaboration with partner organizations, is thrilled to host the third Youth MSP alongside the main Meeting of States Parties (MSP) for the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). From March 3rd to 7th, 2025, an inspiring group of advocates, policy experts, campaigners, UN officials, parliamentarians, academics, and creatives from civil society and governments will gather to discuss the progress of the treaty, the state of disarmament, and non-proliferation, while planning crucial next steps. We are excited to ensure that youth voices and leadership are at the forefront of these discussions!

This year, we will host a dynamic program of events throughout the week, including the 3rd Youth MSP Conference. Last year, in November 2023, we welcomed over 130 passionate young advocates from around the world, and we’re excited to do it again—this time in New York City and online—with engaging workshops, inspiring talks, advocacy sessions, and collaborative planning.Delegate applications are now open, and we look forward to hearing from passionate young advocates like you!  If you’re interested in learning about the delegate experience or the impact of Youth for TPNW at the MSP, check out last year’s program and impact report! We can’t wait to welcome you.

While we hope to provide some financial support, we kindly expect delegates to contribute to their participation (e.g., travel costs).  More details on funding will be shared with accepted delegates soon. Keep an eye on our website youthfortpnw.net , and our social media handles at @youth4tpnw

Applications are now open to be a delegate for the Youth MSP Conference, which will take place in New York City and online in March 2025.

Once delegates are selected in early 2025, they will work together to create a policy document, an advocacy campaign, and other initiatives as a global youth group. Delegates will also be encouraged to raise awareness about the TPNW and nuclear disarmament within their home countries, engaging young people in this vital movement.
