Meet Our Team

Our amazing team is structured into a series of working groups. Below you can check out who leads these groups.
They are backed up by fantastic teams of young people working for a nuclear weapons-free world.

Lucy [she/her, UK]

Lucy is a co-convenor of the Youth and Student Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and a co-founder of a global youth peace network. She spends most of her time looking at very old books as a postgraduate student.

Anant [he/him, India]

Anant Saria holds an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy from SOAS, University of London. His experience includes research in Arms Control, Strategic Studies, Defence Studies and Open Source Research. He previously worked as a Research Manager at SCRAP Weapons.

Paloma [she/her, Argentina/Austria]

Paloma is a young professional from Argentina. She has a bachelor’s degree in international relations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in conflict, peace and security at UNITAR and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

Victor [he/him, Kenya]

Victor is a senior-year medical student at Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya, and a global health enthusiast. He is a youth advocate working towards the prevention of nuclear war and the eventual ban of nuclear weapons based on public health and humanitarian consequences resulting from their use.

Dylan, he/him, New Zealand

Dylan is a recent Master of Strategic Studies graduate from Victoria University of Wellington, where he developed a passion for disarmament and arms control advocacy. A UNODA Leader4Tomorrow, he has also served as a member of New Zealand’s Public Advisory Committee on Disarmament and Arms Control. Dylan is eager to support young people to engage with pressing disarmament challenges.

Bridget [she/her, UK]

Bridget is a Master’s student from Cambridge, UK, and a co-founder of a global youth peace network. She is interested in many areas of peace campaigning and has been involved with the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament in Cambridge, and is on the executive committee for the Christian branch of CND.

Jake [he/him, UK]

Jake holds an MA in Violence, Terrorism and Security from Queen’s University Belfast and have long been passionate about nuclear disarmament and peace issues. He currently works in Campaigns and Media for a U.K.-based global health NGO; here his work is focused on coordinating U.K. voices to advocate for a stronger global response to HIV and AIDS.

Daniel [he/him, Nigeria]

Daniel is a member of Common Futures Conversations at Chatham House. Passionate about International cooperation, he is also a member of the American Academy of Project Management Honorary Global Advisory Council, as well as ICAN, The New Humanitarian, and United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth. Previously, he studied at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy.

Jess [they/them, UK]

Jess works with UNODA and has been selected as a UN Youth Champion for Disarmament. Their current projects involve an educational podcast series on topics from peacebuilding to geopolitics, as well as direct community action.

Molly [she/her, USA]

Molly is the Nuclear Program Associate with the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW). She was raised in the Baltimore, Maryland area where she first gained a passion for justice-centered work. Molly graduated from Salisbury University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Gender & Sexuality Studies.

Ellie [she/her, UK]

Ellie is a co-convenor of the Youth and Student Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, as well as a member of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament's National Council. She is a fundraiser for a humanitarian medical aid NGO where she is also the co-chair of their equality, diversity and inclusion working group.

Declan [he/him, UK]

Declan is a prospective PhD student at the University of Manchester. Declan's research focuses on nuclear disarmament, feminism and activism. Declan holds a BA and MA in international politics from Aberystwyth University and an MRes in Gender Studies from the University of Chester.
